Many corporates and startups struggle to transform diversity and inclusion from merely initiatives to revenue opportunities. While companies tout the D&I narrative, few have actually granted diverse leaders a seat at the table.
In the past decade, Fortune 500 companies with the highest representation of diverse board members attained significantly higher financial performance than those with the lowest representation of diverse board members.
Â
Despite gains for women and minorities, Deloitte & Alliance for Board Diversity estimate it will take another decade before 40% representation is reached. While these metrics are improving, more immediate strategies need to be implemented as early a startup and as advanced as a corporate brand.
Â
During this panel, we’ll pair a group of experienced board members, corporate leaders, investors and female founders to unpack practical ways in which building diverse teams and boards improve the bottom line. We’ll explore questions like, how have you seen diversity deliver better ROI? How has building a diverse board helped shape your business?Â
Â
Please join us for what will be a spirited—and action-oriented—discussion about how diversity in the boardroom can improve your bottom line.
